Toddler Halloween Party

So yesterday...yes actually yesterday...my son had his first ever Halloween party!  It was so much fun to plan and I think the kids had a great time! So here's a realistic, low-budget, toddler Halloween party.

Plates & forks from Target, cups & napkins from Michaels.

At the entry way there were gift bags, foam dollar store grave stones & vinyl on the floor.

The living got a little extra decor like plenty of spider webs, some hanging garland & paper fans, mini pumpkins & we had a game of pin the spider on the web.

So at the party, we decorated cookies, played pin the spider on the web, decorated mini pumpkins with foam stickers, and colored in little canvas Halloween bags.  There were 6 kids (including mine), and I think it was just the right size and by the end of the party I think everyone was best friends!

Hot Pink Ampersand

This little piece of wall art is the perfect way to brighten up any room & it's easier than you think!
Start with your frame of choice, mine was a thrift store frame I painted white.
Using freezer paper or vinyl, design and cut your stencil.

Carefully paint filling in your stencil, mine only took one coat. Then remove & let dry.
Without cutting (yet), hot glue a few inches at a time to the back of the frame. After completely attached, trim remaining burlap. Having the extra attached while glueing make it easier to stretch onto the frame.
And you're done! I hung mine up with some Scotch wall hanging velcro attached on the back.

Own Impression Giveaway!!

Alright everybody! So as some of you may know, I opened my own etsy shop (Own Impression) to sell some fun products I create.  And I recently shipped out an order of my favorite product:
These signs are what originally sparked the idea to open the shop.  I love them because they are the perfect addition to any gallery wall, and you can choose between city, state or even country.  Choose places you lived, where you've visited, or even where all you siblings (or children) live!
So I'm giving a set away to one lucky person!  You can have your choice of up to 5 signs.  The giveaway starts today a winner will be chosen a week from today!
Plus use the coupon code "ribbon" for 10% off Own Impression products for a week!

So if you saw my Halloween decor, you'll have noticed my chalkboard.

I'm a firm believer that everyone should have some type of chalkboard in their home...easy classic decor that can be changed for every holiday! So I took that same design & made it a printable for you to use in your own decor.

I Proudly Introduce...Own Impression

So 2 weekends ago I was sitting on the beach in San Diego and my wonderful sister-in-law and we were talking about the talents we have, developing talents and the pros & cons of turning talents into work.  A few days later I was home and suddenly making products and designing a logo for an etsy shop! Hopefully it will be able to grow full of new products in the future, but for now it's got some fun items as well as plenty of holiday items. I'm in love and I hope you all love them as well! & so...I would like to invite you to Make Your " Own Impression".
