Fanta Orange Creamsicle Punch

I was compensated for this post from Fanta/Dasani through #CollectiveBias. All idea, photos and opinions are 100% my own.

Today I'm sharing a fun and easy recipe for Spooky Orange Creamsicle Punch using Fanta Orange. Swing by your local Wal-Mart to grab all these ingredients (& even a fun new drink dispenser) to make this delicious drink for your next Halloween Bash! I also grabbed some Dasani water for those who are dairy & soda-free! Adding fun straws makes it more fun anyway.

Also, there will be an in-store demo at select Walmart locations October 24-26th featuring Fanta, as well as Wheat Thins and Halloween Oreos for you to see even more fun festive ideas!

 Ingredients:
-2 2-liter bottle of Orange Fanta Soda
-Vanilla Ice Cream
-Whipped Cream

Start by adding your first liter of Fanta into your bowl or drink dispenser.

Add in 3-5 large scoops of ice cream according to how cream-sicly you want it! Give it a quick stir.

Then add in the 2nd bottle of Fanta.

To finish it off, add a few scoops of whipped cream to the top.
(Use a cookie dough scoop for easy serving!)

Yum! A delicious and festive drink that children and adults will all enjoy!

Halloween Home Decor//Last Year

Last year I shared part of my Halloween decor on my entryway table but never got around to sharing the rest. So with October officially here, I thought I'd go ahead and post some pictures from one whole year ago! I've been pinning lots of fun ideas on Pinterest and can't wait to get decorating and crafting this season!

Happy Halloween!

By the time Halloween came, I had already put Clayton in his costume 3 other times...apparently we love to party!  The best pictures I got of him were from last night & I can't get enough of my little cowboy! (prepare for photo overload)  Hope you all had a fun Halloween & are gearing up for Thanksgiving!

Halloween Yarn Wreath

Today I'm sharing my fun Halloween wreath.  I can't even call it a tutorial, because....well there isn't one!  But it's super simple to make & can be finished in a naptime!
All my supplies were purchased from Michaels.  When I saw that bow I knew I had to do something with it!

Start wrapping your yarn around and go go go until it's all covered.  then center your skull & attach with hot glue.  Trim down the stems of the ball & making a spot in-between the yarn, shove those in, then center & attach your bow! Easy-peasy!

Halloween Decor with Martha Stewart Decoupage

This is a sponsored post created on behalf of Plaid Crafts.  All ideas & opinions are 100% mine.

Last week I shared my Halloween Entryway Table...today I'm sharing how I created the fun plate on it.

Would you believe it started as a blank white plate?!

 Supplies:
-Martha Stewart Decoupage in Matte Finish
-Martha Stewart Paint in Gray Wolf
-Martha Stewart Paint in Carrot
-Martha Stewart Flat bristle brush
-Martha Stewart Halloween Decoupage Papers

Start by painting the whole plate with Gray Wolf.

After it's dry, tape off or free-hand stripes in Carrot.

Using your Martha Stewart Decoupage, apply a thin layer to the plate & to the back of your shape.

Lay shape & push out any bubble then apply a thin layer of decoupage to the whole plate to create the matte finish.

Let dry & use fine sand paper to created an aged look.

Guess what...most of this table was created using the same exact products! Martha Stewart Decoupage can be used on any surface such as glass, fabric, paper, metal and wood so the possibilities are endless! All decoupage formulas are dishwasher safe, machine washable, non-yellowing, dry hard with no tack, and can be used indoors or out...and it's all available at Michaels so you can go out & get started on your Halloween decor today!

My creepy apothecary containers are from the same Martha Stewart decoupage paper pack & I attached them using Martha Stewart Decoupage in matte.

Current Halloween Decor

I love to decorate for holidays, but mostly for Christmas!  Since I currently don't have a whole home to decorate, I thought it might be nice to give our room a festive Halloween feel.

I centered everything around a black framed mirror we already had.  The only things I bought were the candy & the frame. (Both on sale at Target.) I thought the frame would be good, because then I can simply change it out for each holiday/season!  Everything else I already had.  Let me break it down...

Those little jars were wedding presents & originally intended to flour, sugar, etc., but we aren't using them for that right now!  One has candy pumpkins (my FAVE!) & the other has candy corn.  That up there is some bunting I made with paper I already had.

I simply cut out the sized triangle I wanted with cardstock, then with each paper- folded it and cut!  I used a hot glue gun (because it was already on) and put some on the fold & the tip, but the baker's twine down & folded the triangle closed.  Easy- peesy!

Ahh...my favorite part!  For this, I combined 2 tutorials I found online...
I took my fancy rubber-glue-gun-pad-thing (my glue gun came with it) & free-handed the letters  I wanted. One at a time, and immediately put silver glitter all over, then waited for it to dry and peeled it easily right off! Now- hot glue isn't the best medium for glitter to stick to. (esp. the thick glitter), so don't be too touchy and handle with care.  After cutting out my paper, I glued the letters. Then, I found a clip-art of a bat online & cut two out of black cardstock, as well as a moon out of yellow.  The bat's bodies are only glued, so their wings could come off & give a 3-d feel to them.

Next, the bucket!

I used this tutorial from Elise Blaha's blog to create the pumpkins. She hangs then, but I added some green ribbon on top to use them for an "eye-level" decor.  I love them & my husband was even impressed! He said they look like they took a long time..which they didn't! Maybe that's why I love them so much...they were REALLY easy! I promise!  Behind the pumpkins are 3-d white letters (R & K) from out wedding.
Well, there you have it!  A little decor to get us feeling spooky!
