Around Here Lately...

These past 2  3 weeks have been crazy, whirlwind & sometimes overwhelming.  In the midst of my big shop project, I got sick, my son got sick (for the first time) and then I got sicker.  We got better JUST in time for Halloween, which he thought was pretty cool!

Things have been coming up one right after the other, sometimes with a few tears in between.  I tend to get overwhelmed easily, especially when I'm dealing with a teething child on top of it all.  

Needless to say, I am still working on my shop project, dealing with a fussy (but always adorable) child, and very much looking forward to the weekend!

Around Here Lately...

Our awesome friend Wendy took some super cute pictures of Clayton. (We're obsessed with them!)

We have been spending plenty of time with Wendy & her husband Clay...including them cutting my husband's hair.

I am super excited for a new endeavor and can't wait for everything to come together.

We built our first fort. (He LOVED it!)

September is almost over & I am definitely ready for this hot HOT weather to be gone!  We're looking forward to fall & I need to start shopping for our Halloween costumes.  Same old, same old, and still loving life around here!

Around Here Lately...

Since I last posted:

We survived a stomach virus.  (my husband and baby got hit hard)

I had my first Mother's Day.

We visited family & with family.

I added color to my hair for the first time ever.

I've been making things to add to my shop.

Continuing to plan a 1st birthday party.

Falling in love with: watermelon, pizza, black beans, french fries, pears, corn & toasted marshmallows.

Lots of swimming.

First baseball game.

Around Here Lately...

We've been pretty busy...

March flew by & April we had sickness, 

a trip to Mesa, 

a trip to San Diego, 

a first Easter to celebrate 

& some more sickness.  

But currently:

we are loving watching our little start walking-assisted. (he thinks it's SO fun!)
