Take (the whole family) Out to the Ballpark

My family and I were hosted by the Diamondbacks at Chase Field; all thoughts & opinions are 100% my own.
I was raised on baseball, from my dad to my brothers, Major League games to Little League games, I loved every single minute of it. I still do! My baseball-loving heart just about exploded when my son chose to start playing t-ball this year. So when we got to go check out the Arizona Diamondbacks game opening week, I couldn't have been more thrilled!

They took us on a tour starting at the Diamond Suites, and I'm already trying to figure out a way to get back in one with some family for the perfect family fun night. There are so many things to do with the kids at the stadium, it's definitely geared towards family members of all ages.
Right now there's a "Virtual Reality Bullpen" on the main concourse in towards center field where you can put on those cool V.R. glasses and experience practice through a Major League baseball player's eyes.
Then we went up by the Sandlot near section 332, where my son's 2 favorite places are. The Kids Club & the super sweet play areas.  Baxter, the team mascot, is also up there at certain points of the game signing autographs and taking photos.
The Kids Club is free for kids 15 & younger & when you sign up at the stadium, your child gets their own membership card that they can scan at every game for awesome rewards. And even better, they can get a free ticket to every Sunday game with their Kids Club card! Be sure to bring your ticket with you to one of kiosks when you scan your card.  The last game we went to, he got his very own Dbacks t-shirt...all for free!
Right next to Kids Club is a big playground for them (check the height requirements for both this and the "toddler play area"). This has finally made it possible for us to get through 9 innings of baseball with a 5 year old, whoever made this happen is a genius! It's supervised by awesome Diamondbacks staff members and holds a limited number of children so that it's never too crazy.
To save money, check out the Value Pack includes a game ticket, hotdog or Subway sandwich and a regular-sized drink for just $25. I love that there are such affordable options for tickets at every game. One of my other favorite things about this stadium is that you can bring in your own food (be sure your back fits the size requirements), because I love snack just as much as my child does!

The whole stadium is fun to just walk around, it's family friendly and the perfect outing no matter what age your kids are!

Use promo code PHXKIDS for up to 40% off the May 14th Mother’s Day game vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates. The first 10,000 moms will receive a free clutch.
