Halloween Decor with Martha Stewart Decoupage

This is a sponsored post created on behalf of Plaid Crafts.  All ideas & opinions are 100% mine.

Last week I shared my Halloween Entryway Table...today I'm sharing how I created the fun plate on it.

Would you believe it started as a blank white plate?!

 Supplies:
-Martha Stewart Decoupage in Matte Finish
-Martha Stewart Paint in Gray Wolf
-Martha Stewart Paint in Carrot
-Martha Stewart Flat bristle brush
-Martha Stewart Halloween Decoupage Papers

Start by painting the whole plate with Gray Wolf.

After it's dry, tape off or free-hand stripes in Carrot.

Using your Martha Stewart Decoupage, apply a thin layer to the plate & to the back of your shape.

Lay shape & push out any bubble then apply a thin layer of decoupage to the whole plate to create the matte finish.

Let dry & use fine sand paper to created an aged look.

Guess what...most of this table was created using the same exact products! Martha Stewart Decoupage can be used on any surface such as glass, fabric, paper, metal and wood so the possibilities are endless! All decoupage formulas are dishwasher safe, machine washable, non-yellowing, dry hard with no tack, and can be used indoors or out...and it's all available at Michaels so you can go out & get started on your Halloween decor today!

My creepy apothecary containers are from the same Martha Stewart decoupage paper pack & I attached them using Martha Stewart Decoupage in matte.
